With few limitations and requirements for citizenship (being primarily general status, age, character, literacy and a possible History test) for those entering our Country, I can't help but wonder what kind of price tag we are looking at to provide them all with health insurance benefits. 

Seriously, did you ever in your wildest dreams think it would get to *this* with an open border policy in place?!  Does anyone else see the financial repercussions we are looking at? Health insurance for anyone of another country that qualifies for citizenship!  You've got to be kidding!  We can't afford "us" - how do we afford an influx in population! Ok, I'm not suggesting a massive border crossing tomorrow.. but, I am suggesting it is coming. Our economic recovery is happening too slow, and we can't continue to spend more than we are bringing in.

I say that if we are going to be forced into paying for insurance for anyone and everyone that crosses the border for citizenship, then the rules for citizenship need some stiff prerequisites that would aid the system and the individual, preventing them from being another financial burden for the taxpayer. I realize that if they were required to have employment waiting for them, they could always end up with unforeseen job loss like anyone else; but if the employer's records were verified, as well as their industry's economic status/rating appearing stable, then the applicant should qualify. I like Canada's education and language tests as well, as part of their prerequisites.

So, along with our current requirements, I think we should add language and college education requirements, as well as a job waiting for them, similar to Canada's policy.

What do you think should be done? Do you agree with my thoughts? 

ACA must be viewed not just as we sit today, but how are we going to manage all of those migrating here to benefit from this easy access product that someone else is paying for? 

America is already on her knees; it's time to change our door-mat policies before it's too late.
